Rave On is the electrifying show paying homage to rock n’ roll’s immortal legend - Buddy Holly. Rave On: Living Legend Edition adds a living legend: Buddy Holly's lead guitarist, Tommy Allsup and songwriter of "Oh, Boy" and "Rave On", will join the nation's top Buddy Holly impersonator Billy McGuigan on stage for an once in a lifetime special event. Hear the music as it's never been done before and the stories behind the Buddy Holly hits from the man that was there.
A Grammy Award winner and member of the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame, Tommy Allsup has a music career spanning more than 60 years. He has played on over 100 country chart toppers and worked with artists as diverse as Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys, Roy Orbison, George Jones, Buddy Knox, Kenny Rogers, Jan & Dean, Willie Nelson and Paul McCartney. Tommy most famously "lost" the coin flip with Ritchie Valens and gave up his seat on the airplane that took the lives of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens.A special treat for the Robson PAC audience!
