(Doogski) Tony was born, studied and began acting in the Minneapolis area. He began professionally at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles touring throughout California and appearing on the main stage with their Improvisational Theatre Project. During his 25 years in L.A. he also appeared at theatres including the Pasadena Playhouse and the Odyssey Theatre and several theatres throughout the country. His film credits include: Sweetland, Factotem and Into Temptation. On T.V. he was seen on: Murphy Brown, Coach, Star Trek DS9, Roswell, Providence, Seinfeld and probably most familiarly as “My Brother Darryl” for 8 seasons on the hit CBS sitcom Newhart
(Digger) While best remembered for his role as “My Other Brother Darryl” on the popular 1980s CBS sitcom Newhart, John Voldstad is a nearly forty-year veteran of television commercials, TV, film, and theater. John’s TV credits include guest star and recurring roles on Coach, Home Improvement, and Beverly Hills 90210. Among Voldstad’s notable film credits are Forrest Gump, Ghostbusters, Stripes, and 1941 to name a few. Voldstad’s formal training came at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in London which garnered him numerous stage credits that include William Shakespeare’s Henry IV (Part I) at Los Angeles’ renowned Mark Taper Forum. After a lengthy hiatus from public performance, Deer Camp – The Musical marks John’s long-awaited return to the stage and a joyous reunion with “My Brother Darryl.”
(Moose) Anthony Zadra has been a Twin Cities actor for upwards of 15 years. On stage he has had various roles for The Mystery Cafe and "Tony and Tina's Wedding" among others. His long list of commercial work includes Sears, StarzHD and Red Robin. In film, he has appeared in "Herman U.S.A." and the Moose - Swahili language film, "Bongoland". He loves his wife, Cree and his weagle (wiener dog+beagle), Smuckers. He HATES Chicken in a Biskit, Circus Peanuts and florescent light bulbs.
(Diesel) A fixture in the Minnesota theatre scene, John Kunik has been acting and directing in the Twin Cities for over 30 years, appearing with the Minneapolis Children’s Theatre, the Guthrie, Park Square, Troupe America, Theatre in the Round, and many others. As a stand-up comic, John has been featured at the Los Angeles, Carolinas, Kansas City and Las Vegas comedy festivals.
(Director) Ross Young is an actor, director, and commercial talent in the Twin Cities. Recent directing credits include Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad in St Paul, Minnesota and We Gotta Bingo in Cleveland, Ohio. Other recent directing projects include A Don't Hug Me County Fair, The Compleat Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, and eight productions of Tony and Tina's Wedding in six cities across the country. His performing credits include long runs of Tony and Tina’s Wedding in Minneapolis and St Paul, several productions of the Don’t Hug Me series across the Midwest, and annual appearances in It's a Wonderful Life, the Radio Play at The Saint Paul Hotel.
DEER CAMP hilariously follows four fearless deer hunters from Elmwood on their
annual trek to deer camp. But things are looking bleak this season. After
decades of hunting trips, the guys have yet to bring home a single deer and the
wives are getting suspicious. This season their wives Have of…. This is not so
easy when the thought of drinking beer and hanging out in the deer shack is more
appealing than freezing in a deer stand. What to do? Shoot one, steal one, or
buy one? Laugh and sing a long with these four lovable louts as they hatch a
plan to save their hunting paradise without ever firing a shot.
